Too many to name since it was my old band. The whole experience of playing shows was something else and I love those memories.

A couple themes from the Edward Scissorhands score but its a good kind of sad.
What is your favorite lyric that 14 has sung?
"Let me sit right by your side, in this light, let me sit right there, in this light we sail, as the water lays under our sky, in this light we sail, as the water lays under our sky." It’s not much of a lyric but the way the instrumentation mixed with the vocal phasing makes the whole thing beautiful.
What is your favorite song by 19?
How did you get into 22?
Everything about them made me want to rewind and repeat and listen for days because their music was memorable as fuck. Jose also had beast amounts of taste to his drumming, which ultimately was the reason why I picked up drumsticks in the first place.

What is a good memory you have involving 25?
Watching them jam/write their debut album in their rehearsal space as well as watching them live.
“Misery Signals guitar player Stu Ross, who has been with the group for most of their existence, has quit the band. His departure was completely amicable and when we contacted Ross for comment earlier today, he stated that “The guys in Misery Signals are and will continue to be four of my best friends.”
Ross explained, “Frankly, I just got tired of being in a metal band.” As such, Ross will now focus on singing for Vancouver pop-punk outfit Living With Lions.”
What a shame. At least the Morgan brothers are still in the band.
Adapting, consuming, and destroying everything that gets in its way. Nurtured from good willed conservatism into the national socialists dream. A monolithic apparatus, the ultimate killing machine, Its branches reaching every degree. Under the disguise of peace and prosperity, you’ve been blind to his true identity. For the beast is no single entity, its existence alone is an atrocity. Corrupting the land of the free, it’s backed by corporate greed. Headed by its monopolies on what we need, think, and see. Corrupting the land of the free, contrived by the elite. Headed by its monopolies on what we need, think, and see.

Tough, but probably Meshuggah, Cynic and The Faceless back in 2009 at The House of Blues in San Diego. Hands down a night of just retarded beast musicianship and good vibes. Not only did I see three of my favorite bands, but since there was only three bands on the bill, The Faceless played their just released Planetary Duality album front to back as well as opening up with the track Akeldama which had never been played live before (not to mention we where the first date of the tour). Cynic, who had been broken up for almost 15 years where phenomenal and Meshuggah played about 17 songs all of which covered their discography. Watching Tomas Haake rape the fuck out of his kit made my life. Period.
More often than not, I think of how beneficial it would be personally if there was more than 24 hours in one day, or even 8 instead of 7 days a week. I think that I would have so much more time to chase my dreams in life. I just now decided that I want to be apart of a cornucopia of different music projects and bands. I was in the shower thinking about how I always say I want to be in this type of band, or play this particular style of music, and I came to a realization and said, “…well fuck, why not do it all?” I want to contribute in so many ways musically as a musician. I always find inspiration every god damn day around so many corners. The thing that bums me out is that I currently don’t have a place to set up my kit and play till all hours of the night, which was a luxury I no longer can use to my advantage. It sucks but it is what it is.
All I know is this: I want to drum for forward thinking projects/bands. I want to be in a progressive metal band. I want to be in a pop punk band and let the good times roll always. I want to be in a jazz fusion band and tastefully call/respond with a sax or trade solos. I want to be in a experimental metal band that intrigues listeners to want to break apart each song to understand extremely complex song structures and how they can interweave in and out of each other to create a beautiful blend of melodicism vs. texturing of a ambient heavy nature. I want to be apart of a trio as well as a sextuplet to precisely mimic an album utilizing 6 layers when playing live. I want to be in bands that are down for trying new ideas and who aren’t scarred to reinvent the wheel so to speak. I want to be in bands who have fans that scream the shit out of my bands lyrics when playing shows. I want to be in a band who doesn’t give a shit about making music to gain fans or follow trends but rather a band that makes music for the sake of just making music. I want to make music that brings the rage out of people as well as making music that can get girls weak in the knees. Most importantly, I want to write and compose scores and be the one responsible for controlling the mood/tone of any type of film whether it be a small indie flick or a mother fucking blockbuster. I want to do this all simultaneously in hopes of becoming a better, more well rounded creative forward thinking musician.
I’m starting this crusade I tell you and you should be apart of it too…I mean how does all that NOT sound like fun?
